First, let me say that Dolly Parton is the poster woman for plastic surgery done well.  Her face is so smooth and unlined, her eyes so bright and wide-open, her mouth so perfect, her boobs still amazingly perky -- nobody would ever guess by looking at her that she's 102.

I'm surprised that David Archuleta sang so well.  I figured after he got hugged by the warm, effervescent, mountainous-chested Dolly, he'd flashback to his infancy of nursing and that would totally distract him for this week.  That said, he nailed the song and earned the season award for picking tunes nobody has ever heard.

Michael -- Fantastic performance, but what the hell was up with the ascot?  That look went out with the first British invasion.

I've gone from having nightmares about David Cook to being a total fangirl.  Every week I love his performances and want him to remain in the competition until the end.

I'm worried that Brooke and Jason are vulnerable this week.  Not that they didn't sing well, but . . .

Speaking of Jason, did you hear Simon say his comments might lose him his lifetime pass to Dollywood?  Simon, dude, you criticized Jason after he sang an inspirational Christian song.  It's like you dissed Christ, man.  There are other, more significant pearly gates you ought to worry about.

Ramiele gave the worst performance of the night.  She deserves to go home, but for some unknown reason, she has a solid fan base.  Every week I put her in the bottom three and every week, she winds up safe.  I'm tempted to not rank her low tonight.  Watch.  If I do, it will end up being the week she goes home.

From the moment I heard it was Dolly week, I said, "We know  Syesha's picking I'll Always Love You."  I should get points for that correct guess, don't you think?  That said, I thought her performance was terrific.  I was amazed that Randy thought it was just all right and Simon didn't rave either.

Kristi Lee, your dress was freakin' ugly.  You'd have been better off wearing a coat of many colors to go with the song of the same name.  However, you absolutely performed well.

Carly, Carly, Carly -- I'm not sure if I thought you were great, or if you coasted.  It's going to be very difficult to decide how to slot you this week!

Kristy Lee Cook must be the luckiest girl in the world, always just missing last place. But I must say she really handles herself well. With humor and I have to say, class. I thought she was really sweet with Ramiele, too. It's weird how the contestants all seem to know who's out beforehand. I don't know if they hear talk or if they've cracked Ryan's super-secret code based on the order they're brought on stage. First 4 safe, next is bottom 3, next 3 safe. Bottom three. Third from last safe, last two one is safe, one bottom three.

I'm still pulling for Brooke though I think she has slipped lately. Simon sure has turned on her. Í don't think he really likes anyone this year. I think he does like David A., but not sure Simon wants him to win.
