I'll be the first to admit that sometimes my imagination leads me down strange paths, but I like it that way.  Right now, every time I see Danny Gokey on American Idol, I think he's a natural to play the part of director/writer/actor Kevin Smith.  I'm not saying that they're twins separated at birth (by several years), but I stand by my musings.

Put a beard/moustache and a few pounds on Danny (pictured left) and he could totally portray Kevin.

           

Kevin might be able to dance better.
